Mettooool!! (whisper)
Today’s covert operation starts with me infiltrating a meeting

▲Witness my impeccable recon technique
My spy operation is based on intelligence that Bandai Collectors Department (Tamashii Nations),
the makers of the D-Arts MegamanX action figure are will have a meeting with Mr. Yama in Capcom.
▲Ok! Uh oh, has my cover been blown? Looks like I’m still safe....
I stealthily observe from my hiding Spot...
▲It’s that guy!
The D-Arts product development manager Mr. AT
(due to his remarkably good looks Mr. AT has requested that his face not be shown)
And talking to him is the product manager from Capcom side, Mr. Yama.
▲This looks like an intense meeting
But who is that westerner sitting next to AT?
▲Me (Ucchy) being nosy
And most importantly what is that thing on top of the table!
Zoom!
▲What’s that!?
So much for the covert operation. I am moving in...
Whaaaa!
It’s so shiny!!
It’s too bright!!!!
D-Arts MegamanX Metallic Version (US Exclusive) for San Diego Comic-Con 2011
▲Toooooooooooo awesome!
The friendly guy who brought the sample and is playing along with my antics is Adam Newman from the Tamashii Nations marketing team.
▲As you can see from the photo, I’m quite excited.
Well I’m finished with the stealthy reconnaissance.
Now it’s time to shift into press interview mode!
▲Um... But…ah…um
I consider myself to be quite outgoing and international, it’s just that....
▲・・・
I don’t understand English and have no clue what this guy is telling me...Oh well,
I guess I will just have to show how shiny this figure is via photos!
▲The package is shiny metallic!
This D-Arts MegamanX (Metallic Version) exclusive figure is a special release for fans in the US market and will be available at San Diego Comic-Con International 2011 (July20-24).
This is a very special gesture to all the Tamashii Nations action figure fans who typically are unable to buy the Japan exclusives. Also, this figure was developed in response to positive feedback received in the US market from not only Megaman fans but figure collectors in general regarding the D-Arts MegamanX figure, as well as upcoming D-Arts Zero and MegamanX Full-Armor figures.
▲”Rockman” in Japan, “Megaman” in the US.
This product will really show-off the quality of the sculpt and superior play value that comes with the precise articulation. And the metallic color looks amazing!
▲Really happy about the buster effect parts and interchangeable face parts
(I am hoping the camera captures this shine)
The final package on this product will feature a San Diego Comic-Con logo as well and can be purchased at the Bluefin/Bandai Booth (3545).
▲I had a great time at Comic-Con last year!
▲Shiny USA Exclusive!
▲At last, time to open the package and get an up-close up look at the figure!
▲Just look at the shine!
The quality is apparent and resemblance is clear!Doesn’t he look just like me?
▲Have you noticed?
The quality is apparent and resemblance is clear!Doesn’t he look just like me?
▲Amazing!
What do you think?
Up until now Bandai’s Collectors Toy Department (Tamashii Nations) has only released exclusives at overseas events that had previously been sold at Japan Tamashii Nations Events. This US exclusive will be a historical first for the Tamashii Nations label! And the character chosen for this unique honor is MegamanX! Just goes to show that Megaman is loved all around the world!
Adam apparently will be attending the show so please feel free to say hi if you spot him and ask about various subjects (ex. How weird is Ucchy really?) Adam asked if we would hold another “Megaman Olympics” (we our first one held last year at SDCC). I think that’s the only part of the conversation I understood.
▲Thank you so much for the wonderful gift...All my friends are going to be jealous
Ah!
▲What?!
Aaahhhh!!
▲Denied
▲Adam!
▲Wait, Mr. Adam!
▲Metallic...(sob)
▲・・・・・・
This sample is on its way to America!
To cross the pacific and delight fans at San Diego Comic-Con 2011.
Comeback Adam!
Comeback X!
